Huw matthew-thomas jefferson

A service celebrating the life of Huw Matthew-Thomas Jefferson, 54, will be held at The Oaks Church, 12121 S. Western Ave, Suite A-5, Oklahoma City, OK on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM with pastors Sean Abbananto and Steve Dyer officiating. Huw was born in 1970 to Benjamin and Linda Jefferson, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Norman Regional Hospital. Huw grew up in Weatherford, OK and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1988. In 2012, Huw married Lindsey Dyer and made their home in Norman, OK. Huw was a hard worker have worked at Griffin Memorial Hospital for 23 years as a Mental Health Administrator immediately prior to his death. Huw was a devoted husband and a great father to his two beautiful children, daughter Riley, and son Hunter. Huw was always selfless, meaning he enjoyed helping others. His other interests were watching professional wrestling, going to the movies with his wife, and participating in family gatherings. Huw is survived by his wife, Lindsey, and children Riley and Hunter of the home; two brothers, David Jefferson and wife, Nina, of Oxnard, CA, and Tim Jefferson of Weatherford, OK; two sisters, Shirley Jefferson of Weatherford, OK, and Diana Jefferson and Jim Hoyle of Weatherford, OK; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Research Institute through their website, or to a charity of your choice.
